The DIN
Standards Committee Materials Testing (NA 062; NMP) is responsible
for the development of standards for test methods and
terminology as well as for specific subject matters also for basic
standards and product standards for a large number of materials. FAM is
a section of NMP, namely Section 6
Standardization
of Petroleum, Fuels, Lubricants and
Related Products.The DIN
Standards Committee Materials Testing
coordinates the German participation in European (CEN) and
International (ISO) Standardization and holds the secretariats of
European and International standards committees in selected fields.
